Snow Day

Last Friday it snowed about 4-6" It was not only beautiful and fun for a day, but it was melted the next morning. That is my kind of snow. Schools were closed and Don did not have to go into work until the afternoon because of the snow.
I guess we brought the odd weather of Utah with us to Texas. There have been some very strange going ons since we arrived here. Tornadoes now Snow? Snow 3 times might I add.

Eldon 4 Months

Look at those fat rolls!!

Practicing sitting up.

His Christmas gift got here this month. So cute!

Our baby boy is definitly not a little guy. He weighs over 19lbs. and is equally proportional in his height, sitting right along the tops of the charts.

He is working on sitting up and rolling over. He can do both things but not consistently yet. He is really into grabbing things and is extremely focused while doing so. It is kind of funny to watch him breastfeed while trying to focus and grab me. He goes cross eyed.

He is still waking up at 3-4am to eat and some nights every 3-4 hours all night. We tried to introduce solids to help with this problem perhaps, but he will have nothing to do with them. He acts like we are trying to force poison on him. So just extra feedings for now.

He really is too cute talking, smiling, and laughing a lot. It is hard to get it on camera though once I pull it out he just stares at the camera in wonder. Which is his face in a lot of the photos.

Z-O-O

Many of you know that since we moved to Tyler Jaron has been wanting to go to the zoo. In Salt Lake it was one of his most favorite places. He prayed that daddy would get a job so we could afford to go for several months. Well we decided that even though daddy did get a job that it would make a great Christmas gift. Great Grandma and Grandpa Gray gave the boys a family pass to the zoo for Christmas. Our first trip there priceless.
Jaron knows how to spell zoo, we didn't tell him where we were going but as we drove up I asked him to look at the sign and see what it said. Here is what he said, "z-o-o, zoo. ZOO!!!! We are going to the Zoo!!!" He could hardly wait, we ran to the zoo door and for about the first half hour through the zoo. He was so so excited. Bryson shared in the excitement using his high pitched voice to tell us what he saw.
It is a really nice zoo with very natural habitats. I was very impressed by it. There is a petting zoo too.
The only sad thing the day after we went everyone came down with a stomach bug, not good.

Happy New Year

Hello again, it has been a while all. Our computer has been on the firtz so I have not been able to blog. But here we are again.

New year's was fun. After all was said and done we ended up just doing things with our little family. We rented a movie and had good food. Jaron and Bryson did stay up until midnight! Eldon as you can see didn't make it.
