Patten is 4 Months!
Patten was 4 months on August 4th. This little man is laughing lots and eating even more. He has discovered his hands. He always has them in his mouth and is trying to learn to use them better. He is an easy going baby but requests to be help often.

Landon is 5
Landon has really high expectations for his birthday. He decided on miniature golf, dinner at Pizza Pie Cafe, and purchasing Kung Fu Panda to watch with the family in the evening. Of course there is cake and ice cream too.
We love our 5 year old.
Landon loves to play with friends and play Wii.
Landon expect himself to be able to do everything that brothers do. He becomes very frustrated when he isn't as good as them or makes a mistake on his homework.
Landon always is telling me thank you for helping him and telling me he loves me.
Landon still holds fast to the color orange.
The only meal he ever really requests is pizza.
His favorite song is One Call Away by Charlie Puth

| This is the Place Heritage Park. The first of our Summer Fun activities that we did. Every week we do something with neighborhood friends. |
The four boys took swimming lessons this year! They all did great considering it was the first lessons they have had in a while.

| HAPPY FATHER'S DAY DADDY |
I was only able to get a few pictures at the Barlow family reunion in Lava Hot Springs. Most of the time my hands were full with little kids or we were playing in the water. It was a great time to reconnect with family. We went to the water park, fished, floated the river, and mostly just played games in the large grassy area where we stayed.
Preschool
This year I did a joy-school with a few other moms in the neighborhood. Landon looked forward to it every week. This was the graduation that I put together for it.

Mother's Day
![]() |
| Dad brought his mother over to have dinner at our house. Yes, he and Mom cooked it for us. |
We all know how honest I am, so here is the truth about mother's day. I sent this text to Don on Mother's Day. Lucky for me there are others to focus on on that day. I am really grateful for the wonderful mother I have and all she taught me about determination and hard work. Just because I get discouraged with my efforts as a mother doesn't mean I will throw in the towel. That is one thing she taught me for sure. When you feel like the odds are stacked against you buck up and keep moving.

Edwin Patten is 1 month
This handsome guy is 1 month old. Patten:
. . . has spend much of his first month being held. He gets angry if he is not being held.
. . .also knows if you are looking at your phone while holding him and will not have any of that.
. . . smiles a lot! He has been smiling at us since birth.
. . . talks to his angel friends regularly. He is very focused on a certain point, but there is nothing our natural man eyes can see.
. . . is very alert. He is awake a lot for an infant. His pediatrician has commented on his attentiveness.
. . . was tongue tied and had that correct in the first week of life.
. . . is very strong. He rolled over in fact because he hated being on his tummy.
. . . is cross eyed most of the time.
. . . is loved by his family very much.
