June 2017

June 2017

End of School

The last few weeks of school are always crazy! Field trips, field day, and end of year programs.  It's a fun time.
Patten was a little tired from helping with field day.
Landon had some wonderful teachers this year.

Memorial Day

We visited the graves of those we could: Mama Judy, Baby Josh, and Grandma Cox.

Scout Camp

Don and Jaron did lots of hiking at scout camp. Jaron had the time of his life in southern Utah.

Meanwhile at home, I also had a great first week of summer with the remaining 5 at home.

Salt Lake City

Tyson and his family invited us to meet the in downtown SLC while there were there.  It was really cool to tour the Conference Center!  The roof was really interesting.

 Hughes Cousin Camp

I really enjoy creating memories my children will remember.
"Getting to Know You" Cousin camp included:
Favorite things gift exchange,
A hike,
Movie on the lawn with treats,
Sleeping outside in a tent,
Decorating and flying airplains,
Reading stories of our ancestors,
Favorite meals from each family,
Watching Aunt Melynda play baseball.

 Bowling

Other June Events

Baseball continued.  Bryson's team made it tournament and did well but didn't make it to the championship game so we ended the last week of the month.

Don hurt his back this month.  He has a pinched nerve because of one of his disks are bulging and pinching it. PT and an injection are in his future.

May 2017

Baseball

Both Eldon and Bryson started baseball in May.

 School is Out

Eldon had a Big Brain project this month. He also had to turn in flat Stanley who visited several places over the month we had him.

I was able to go to St. George to see Brittnee graduate from Dental Hygiene school.
Jacob also graduated this year.

 Other Fun

I have stared running again.  It was going great, until my knees didn't want to do it anymore.

Kayla likes wearing her dress ups!
